Back in 2012, i had high hopes of adding the hobbit to my annual lord of the rings marathon, but in its current bloated format, i simply cannot see that happening. What i would like to see is a crowdsourced hobbit adaptation that takes the best parts of the various edits and compiles them into a super edit; Sound mixers, editors, special effect wizards, etc.
