Shimrod101 on mod the sims has created this handy mod so you can get super close to sims and objects without them disappearing! Click on the image below to take you straight there. The fading on sims/objects isn't handled the same way as that on ceiling lights, columns, and trees.
I explained that on the post, where i mention the difference between this mod and shimrod's. That's sufficient for me. Trees should never disappear on you.
Different no fade mods can affect many aspects of the sims 4. Don't fade sims or objects when zooming in. Extract. zip file into your mods folder.
Make sure you have mods enabled in sims 4 game settings. Cleanup game cache (delete the cache folders from the documents\electronic arts\the sims 4 folder). If still unsure google how to install sims 4 mods.
The sims 2 2. The sims 3 3. The sims 4 (5 years later its decent).
I get that it's supposed to make it easier to see your sim, but most of the objects affected by the fade are tiny. The fade really is awkward. I hate when it happens with trees and plants.

This mod makes it possible that the trees do not fade when you get closer. It is recommended to set the graphics setting to high. This mod contains a lot of resources, if you see a tree that is still fading please send me a dm with a screenshot.
So i bring you the no fade on everything mod! This blocks fading for all ea objects in your game including columns, trees/plants, deco buildings, lights, etc. It does not affect sims (you need my other mod for that still) and inactive lots when you get too close.
I'm still investigating why inactive lots are fading, but unfortunately, from my. All nearby trees fade, only left shadows. That would be annoying for building.
When doing roofs and windows, or other wall stuff, having to keep moving/hiding the trees manually and forgetting where they go. As much as i dislike when the suggestion to just add an option is used, in this case, probably needed. Buyable hidden lot entrances, 2 flavors each, open and closed.
