One piece's dub is very good and so is the sub. I have watched all of the episodes available in both and i like them both. I always recommend to go with whatever you are used.
I prefer the dub, but i'd say at least give the subbed a chance. Sure it's different, but you'll get used to it after a while. When i started one piece, i read the entire manga first, then watched arcs.
