I usually game on pc, but all my gaming family members are on. To go to the video settings, first click on the “settings” option with a gear symbol. Then go to the “video” option.
Open apex legends and then minimise the game. Then proceed to details, and search for r5apex. exe. Once you are able to find it, right click on r5apex. exe > set priority > high.
Setting high priority for the application is going to increase fps. Launch apex legend and open the video settings. I will show you how to set up each option for maximum performance.
You can't set your fps in console. Well at least the pro is running 60fps instead of 30 fps on normal ps4. Both versions run at 60.

I even bought a brand new ps4 pro and it still. In order to remove this limitation, go to your steam library and look for apex legends. Alternatively, you can also type the command “+fpx_max 0”.
Apex doesn’t allow players to set a custom fps limit within the game. You have to navigate to origin and go to my game library. Apex is by default a very good optimized game, but with some tricks you can boost your fps and get the best settings for apex legends.
