If you want to make a bakery, you buy a retail store and get the appropriate items and sell baked goods. You can add a coffee maker into it, but you won't get money from it, sims will just make it themselves. Instructions on downloading and installing.

You put a cafe on a cafe lot, not a restaurant lot iirc. I don't think you can actually own and run a cafe marked in a cafe lot. You can make a restaurant that serves only desserts and coffee/tea if you want to.
