The story is really great in my opinion better than the main game, the boss fights are 10 times. Hearts of stone is more like regular dlc; It only features the new quest line and other features like enchanting.
Blood and wine is the true expansion, with the fully fledged region of toussaint. But yeah, it took me about 25 hours to do all the question marks added by the dlc, do all the quests/side quests, collect all the op dlc armor and weapons and see most of the different outcomes. I'm surprised that with this day and age, that the expansion is only $10 for the amount of content that you get.
