Go to a location where youre able to sell the eggs, then unload them ontop of where you would empty the grain. Kinda odd but it works. Selling eggs was a slight event or finding where to sell the eggs should i say.
I have the same problem, just starting out i am using a pickup truck to haul the boxes. Usually some boxes can't be sold, even if i throw them on the ground. I haul those back to the coop and lay them in the pickup area.
The next time i go to sell some eggs, i can usually sell those i couldn't the last time. I use the pick up with the 5th wheel hitch trailer. Load the eggs on, drive to the sell point and the nearest layer to the ground immediately sells.
Then i undo the straps, the rest of the load drops down and sells too. Sometimes you will have 3 or 4 boxes that you need to drag off and drop by hand. There you will find chicken pens (chicken coops) in two sizes:
To buy chickens, go to the animal dealer or stand in front of the poultry house gate. Is this the best way to sell eggs? I don't know, but we're going to try it out!

You need to place the egg boxes/crates over the sellpoint to sell them. There won't be any options showing up. Also check that the store is open as some maps have opening hours for shops.
