To enable motherboard lighting control in icue, simply install aura 1. 07. 79 and update to the latest version of icue. You’ll be able to apply multiple complex layers of lighting effects and even control devices connected to your motherboard’s 4 wire. By installing the aura sync utility with icue , users can now synchronise the rgb lighting of all asus aura components with any corsair components you may have installed.
Corsair’s icue software has an extensive set of features to customise the rgb lighting of compatible products. To use the rgb header on your motherboard, you can get cooler master rgb fans and can control the lighting using asus aura sync e. g. Select aura sync on the left menu.
Click the aura effects tab. Select asus motherboard in the devices section. If you do not see asus.
Install the asus plugin. Select your system memory. Click the aura sync section.
Click the link/unlink button beneath the dram icon; The icon will change to white when linked. When asked if you want to save changes, click yes.
Does not work on all boards like for example x470 or z390) you want to select the host led device in masterled. And for the synchronized leds you should drag over the leds you want do sync to. Install the icue aura plugin and save the files to the following directory:
Local disk c > program files (x86) > corsair > corsair icue software > plugins. Continue to the following step once you’ve placed the plugins in the proper directory. Use corsair icue to sync all rgb lights on the asus motherboard.
Download corsair icue and corsair rgb memory plugin for asus aura sync. Go to icue settings page and enable full software control. Go to aura sync to refresh it,then sync with corsair dram.

Before i had corsair vengeance rgb pro ram, but i switched to g. skill tridentz rgb, which i know supports aura sync as well. Can i use asus aura sync and corsair icue at the same time without conflicts? Or do i need something like corsair icue with aura sync plugin (and still have aura sync installed)?
Asus and corsair have started to work together in the rgb space so some asus products can be controlled by icue. Msi has a couple mb that control corsair rgb lighting but it very limited. I do believe i can link aura sync with icue so aura sync controls my keyboard and call it a day.

Simply install the latest aura sync but don't run it. Head over to corsair's forum and grab the asus plugin for it. Install it and you can now control all the board lighting.
Ram is not working unless you have corsair's ram. Hopefully, they will add more support for more peripherals as well from. This is a easy setup guide to install corsair icue 4 and asus armoury crate.

Open icue, click the “settings” tab at the top of the window,then click the icon for your system memory (1) click “enable full software control” (2) in aura sync, click the link/unlink button under the dram icon;when linked, the icon will change to white. When asked if you want to save changes, click “yes”. I'm not sure how to fix this issue so that i can launch asus aura while using corsair icue, any help to fix this problem would be appreciated.
I am using corsair icue version 3. 16. 56 and i'm using asus aura version 1. 07. 60 link to comment. It's an asus aura problem. Nothing from corsair here.
I suggest downgrading asus aura by uninstalling.
