There is no noticeable difference between the two for most types of videos we watch and it depends on the country’s tv standard which rate is available however 60hz does have a slight advantage over 50hz when showing very fast motion such as a baseball in the air. I have a 4k hdr tv from samsung and the hdmi cable is 4k 18gbps. The problem is that i noticed that in youtube videos and other apps having it set to 4k sdr 60hz gave me image lag. So i provided 4k sdr 50hz and it solved.
The only thing is that the wallpapers look laggy because i imagine. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question. 1080p 50hz & 60hz lagging problem.
I have some issues with my appletv (last one : If i set resolution as auto, appletv selects 1080p 60hz. With that resolution, itunes rental movies look fine.
But lots of other videos (mainly : Airplay movies) are lagging.
